Since Busan is famous for it’s beaches, I definitely had to check out at least one of them. Good thing our tour bus, Busan City Tour Bus, had a stop right at Songdo Beach. We went here after the slightly disappointing Oryukdo Skywalk, it took around 45 minutes.
Click the read more button below to know more about what I got up to here and how it compares to the Oryukdo Skywalk!
How to get to Songdo Beach?
1st option: Busan City Tour Bus, stop no. 10-1 (travel time – 1 hour from Busan Station). I will be doing a full post on the bus tour soon!
2nd option: Take Subway Line 1 to Jagalchi Station. Come out from Exit 2.
3rd option: Take bus 7, 9, 26, 30, 71 or 96. Get off 6 stops later at Songdo Beach.
*Local bus and train schedule is subject to change, please check to confirm before visiting the site. Check also the Korean Tourism Org’s website here).
Songdo Beach and Skywalk is open all year round from 9am to 6pm
The skywalk is wide and spacious are compared to the one in Oryukdo. It’s around 365 meters long. It was nice to stroll along the skywalk. There are beautiful views of the ocean, the beach and the Busan City skyline.
TRIVIA! According to a legend, the curved walkway is supposed to provide an illusion of a dragon flying over the sea.
Feeling dangerous here 😛 Hahaha!
More beautiful views of Busan!
Snacking on some Korean food! Sorry, I can’t remember the names of the food we ate. Quite delicious, although we initially thought the brown one was bugs. Hahaha!
It was a nice and relaxing time here at Songdo Beach and Skywalk! Much better than the Skywalk at Oryukdo Islands.
