This year I have three main goals for my blog. 1) post more often 2) finish off all my backlogs from last year – maybe even last last year, oops – and 3) create a logo for my blog. It’s already February and I don’t have a new blog post up, hahaha. It will be difficult but I think it all boils down to time management and not procrastinating. Alsooo, I realized that it’s much harder to write about something / some place when it’s been so long. So I’m working on my recent travels and will try to fit the backlogs whenever I can. Balabac, Palawan posts coming soooon! But first, Fantasy World.
Last December, I was in the Batangas / Tagaytay area and my parents and I decided to go and visit Fantasy World – an abandoned theme park.
What is Fantasy World?
Fantasy World WAS supposed to be the “Disneyland” of the Philippines but things didn’t turn out that way. When I first heard about the place I got the impression that it was totally deserted, but when we got there it was far from it. Surprisingly a lot people there!
Can you see the castle in the distance? Entrance – you pay here

Things to do in Fantasy World
Basically, you can do three things.
- Take photos
- Chill
- Eat
Here are a few photos of the park:

There is a hanging bridge you can climb up. You can get a nice view of the park from up there. Takes less than 5 minutes to get to the top.

I wouldn’t say it’s a must see, but the place is okay. Visit if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t travel all the way to Batangas just to see this one place. My parents and I were here for around 15 minutes; I would say maximum is 30 minutes. It is more than enough time to see the whole park/castle.
