From Oslob Whaleshark watching (link to blog here), my friends and I hopped on to the tricycle that we hired and went searching for some beautiful waterfalls! We visited Binalayan Hidden Falls and Aguinid Falls in Samboan, Cebu. Both were around 30 minutes from Oslob.

The tricycle that we hired out for the whole afternoon was P1,500 (we were a group of 5 so, 300 each), excluding tip. Contact for Tricycle Driver: Jomi +63965-269-6258
Binalayan Hidden Waterfalls
Binalayan Waterfall is also known as ‘Hidden Falls’ – in contrary to its name though, it’s not hidden at all. Entrance is P60 per person and the trail is a fairly easy 20 minute trek.
It’s a very beautiful waterfall with a lot places where you can jump from! Scary and thrilling but once is enough for me, hahaha.

Aguinid Falls
About 5 minutes from Binalayan Falls is Aguinid Falls. I liked this one over Binalayan Falls because of all the different levels that you go through. There is a very very steep climb on one of levels though! Water is gushing down while your climbing up, pulling at a rope for help – definitely recommend wearing aqua/water shoes, although the rocks aren’t slippery at all.
Entrance: P40
