Wanderlust Series Part 1

Everyone loves to travel! I have yet to meet anyone that hates to travel and although sometimes we tend to make excuses (myself included) about how we don’t have money to travel, no time to travel, and the list goes on. But I’ve learnt lately that travel doesn’t have to be expensive. You don’t need to stay in a fancy hotel or eat 6 course meals to say that you’ve traveled well (although there’s nothing wrong with splurging every once in a while). Travel should be about the experiencing the best of life, discovering the world, discovering yourself.

Every once in a while I’ll post my favorite travel quotes to fuel your wanderlust and push you to see the world!

I’ll end this post with one of my favorite quotes that I’ve come across so far, it sums up my life goal atm:

“Your 20’s are your ‘selfish’ years. It’s a decade to immerse yourself in every single thing possible. Be selfish with your time, and all the aspects of you. Tinker with shit, travel, explore, love a lot, love a little, and never touch the ground.” – Kyoko Escamilla

  4. I’ve always love traveling since I was a kid. I guess that’s the passion that fueled me to start my own travel blog 7 years back. I’ve met some people who are not really into travelling, which would surprise me. And I also find that people who love to go to other places have different methods, preferences, and needs. Nevertheless, enjoy your travels and I hope to see you on the road!

  5. I too wish to travel, but for now my priority is my kids and my education. I do hope though that before I hit the big 30, I have already hiked and traveled the wonders of our country like falls in the PH or the corals in Coron Palawan 🙂

  6. Lucky are those who discovered the joys of traveling at an early age. I didn’t get to start really doing it until my late 20s. Anyway, it’s not too late. Traveling is one of the most fulfilling things a person can do in his life.

  7. I only got to travel for business or work related trips because someone will pay for my expenses, haha.

Kidding aside, travelling is not my cup of tea and I only enjoy it if I go out with wifey and kids.

  8. I sarted traveling when I was 24 and I could say that I was reborn from the time that I found my joy in traveling. I believe that I was born to discover the world around me.

  9. Thanks to my previous work because I was able to visit different states in the U.S., Caribbean countries and so on. I worked in an international cruise line and it was an unforgettable experience. I could not afford to travel on my own. Traveling is expensive but if you really want to do it, you would find a way.
