We got to visit the the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Todaiji Temple and of course, Nara Park. I’ll be blogging about each of them separately so the blog won’t be so long hehe.

Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route – one of the highlights of my Japan trip! We traveled a long way, on many many different transportation modes and unfortunately there was a snow storm when we went and we weren’t able to see the “snow wall” (sad!) BUTTT, w were still able to see a very tiny bit of it and some other awesome places so I still enjoyed it!

Fuji Shiba Sakura Festival

Fuji Shiba Sakura Festival

From Fukuoka we made our way to Tokyo, but we didn’t really spend much time in the city. We went to see Mt. Fuji and also to go on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. On our first day (May 3, 2018) we spent a day at the Fuji Shiba-sakura Festival. It’s a beautiful festival held at this resort full of thousands and thousands of shiba-sakura or “pink moss”. 🙂

Welcome to Uminonakamichi Seaside Park! My favorite place that I visited in Fukuoka and one of the highlights of my Japan trip!

It is a huge national park, stretching 300 hectares. There are so many things to do and so many places to see here. My family and I spent the morning here, just riding around in our rental bikes and exploring this beautiful park!
