In life, people tend t wait for good things to come to them. And by waiting, they miss out. Usually, what you wish for doesn’t fall in your lap; it falls somewhere nearby, and you have to recognize it, stand up, and put in the time and work it taks to get to it. This isn’t because the universe is cruel. It’s because the universe is smart. It has its own cat-string theory and knows that we don’t appreciaate things that fall in our laps.” – Neil Strauss
Hi everyone! First life lately update for the year and I don’t have much to say. January in a nutshell was alle aout preparing; getting ready; planning. Planning for the rest of year. Figuring out what I want to accomplish, what are my goals, where I want to go, things I want to do, etc. etc. At the moment there are a few things that are already set in stone and I am really excited about them! There are also some other things that still need planning and researching but I’m crossing my fingers that they’ll push through and I can check off everything on my 2018 bucket list!
One of the many goals I have for the year is to visit more places, travel as often as I can while still remembering to leave some money for my savings. Making the most of not just long weekends but all weekends and as always, spend more time with family and friends.
Sharing with you guys a couple photos from my January:

How was your January? Have you guys kept all your new years resolutions? What are you plans for the year? Let me know in the comments section below!  ♥

January is always about planning for the rest of the year. And looks like you did your planning this month. Congratulations on having your paintings exhibited. And the puppy is really so very cute.
Thanks Neha! 😀 Not my paintings, but I wish they were hehe.
This made me rethink about how my 2018 is going. So far, I think its going to the right direction. 🙂
I’m actually quite excited for summer as one big travel is lined up.
Hope your year turns out well too. 🙂
Thanks Neil! Hope your Feb is going well 😀
Wow.. This made me think about how I would wish 2018 would be. I too love florals, and looking at one of your pictures about floral paintings, I feel like painting a chinese flower. Also one of my far fetched dreams would be to have my own Art Cafe some day. So 2018 would be to take baby steps in exploring my art interest for the same.
Awesome! Wishing you the best, thanks Sonali! 😀
