Life Lately 2018-01

In life, people tend t wait for good things to come to them. And by waiting, they miss out. Usually, what you wish for doesn’t fall in your lap; it falls somewhere nearby, and you have to recognize it, stand up, and put in the time and work it taks to get to it. This isn’t because the universe is cruel. It’s because the universe is smart. It has its own cat-string theory and knows that we don’t appreciaate things that fall in our laps.” – Neil Strauss

Hi everyone! First life lately update for the year and I don’t have much to say. January in a nutshell was alle aout preparing; getting ready; planning. Planning for the rest of year. Figuring out what I want to accomplish, what are my goals, where I want to go, things I want to do, etc. etc. At the moment there are a few things that are already set in stone and I am really excited about them! There are also some other things that still need planning and researching but I’m crossing my fingers that they’ll push through and I can check off everything on my 2018 bucket list!

One of the many goals I have for the year is to visit more places, travel as often as I can while still remembering to leave some money for my savings. Making the most of not just long weekends but all weekends and as always, spend more time with family and friends.

Sharing with you guys a couple photos from my January:

New puppy, Arvie? Arvey? Arvy? Have’t decided how to spell his name yet. Hihihi. He’s so kyot!!!

A few of my favorite paintings from the Chinese New Year exhibition at SM Pampanga. I love florals!

Exploring new places to eat. First time visiting Pioneer St Market, cute place. Will come back here and try some of the food places.

Again, trying new restos. Ramen Kuroda in the TV 5 Building and Banh Mi Kitchen in the Rockwell Business Center – bought when they were having their 50% off sale. It was good!

Obsessing over liptints lately. Trying TonyMoly’s Tony Tint in Delight. I like it so far! Really nice 🙂

Went to for a mani-pedi-footspa last week at Nails a Latte in Kapitolyo. Based on my past experiences my mani will only probably last a few days until it’s all chipped away. Hehe!

How was your January? Have you guys kept all your new years resolutions? What are you plans for the year? Let me know in the comments section below!  ♥
