Back in September, myself and two of my friends went to Bangkok! We were there for 4 days and 3 nights and stayed in the Pratanum area at Centre Point Hotel Pratanum.

Location of Centre Point Hotel Prataum
One of the main agenda’s of our trip to Bangkok was shopping so we defeinitely made sure that the shopping places like Platinum Mall and Pratanum Market were just a few minutes away. And Centre Point Hotel had the perfect location! The malls were only a 5 to 10 minute walk away, there were plenty of food stores, food carts and money exchanging places within the area – super convenient!
We arrived early in the morning and the great thing about this hotel is that they’ll let you leave your luggage with them! We just got our essentials for the day, left our suitcases and extra bags with them and went exploring 🙂
Checking in and checking out was also pretty straight forward, hassle free and fast 🙂 There are free charging stations, computers for use and also free coffee and juices for the guests.
Cozy area just outside the entrance of the hotel.
Bedroom / Living Area
This hotel has a wide range of rooms available including a Grand Deluxe, Grand Deluxe Executive, Grand Deluxe for 3 to 4 people, Deluxe Suite Courtyard, Family Connecting Room for 5 to 8 people and a Presidential Suite for 4 adults. If you want to know more about their rooms, you can check it out on their website here.
My friends and I booked through Booking.com and we got the Grand Deluxe Room that fits 3 to 4 people for 3 nights. Our total (without breakfast) was exactly Php 15,971.84.
Doing the math, it splits up to Php 1,774.65 per person per night. That’s a pretty good deal if you ask me! The rooms we’re clean and spacious, and I really liked how there was a kitchenette/dining area. The room included plates, bowls, utensils and also a microwave in case you just wanted to take out some food and dine in.
Big clean bathroom! Came ready of course with the usual such as towels and toiletries.
This is the view from our room. I think that patch of green is a park but I forgot the name of it! Hehe.

Below are photos of the pool and hallways.
The hotel staff kindly gave us a free voucher for their Resident Lounge. This is where you can snack on yummy pastries, desserts and drinks. You can eat and drink as much as you want! Hehe. We didn’t know how to work the capsule coffee machine but thankfully one of hotel staff helped us out.
Price is 360 Baht (around Php 600)
Overall, I think Centre Point Hotel Pratanum is a great hotel! The staff are lovely, the rooms are clean, and the location is great! Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Bangkok and wants to stay in the Pratanum area. 🙂
