A Hopeful 2017

Keeping this new years post short, sweet and simple.

This year I have nothing but hope. Hope that I accomplish all my goals for the year. Hope that I continue making milestones in my life. Hope that my family and friends also have a great year. And hope that no matter how this year will turn out, that I’ll always remember to be thankful.

Sharing with you guys some of my goals for the year! Help me check them off my list! ๐Ÿ˜›

“Infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen… yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.” – BW

2017, we’re ready for ya!ย โ™ฅ

  1. Was looking at your bucket list – getting more sleep caught my attention. hahaha. I’m an insomniac so sleep is a priceless commodity for me. Cheers to more restful nights for the two us! I’m a bookworm too, let me know what genre you’re into and maybe I can recommend some books for you to read. Noticed you included a lot of traveling in your list as well- that sounds lovely! Hope you get to explore every single one of these places! Anyway, Happy New Year and cheers to embracing life and staying grateful!

  2. I love reading goals and bucketlists this time of the year. I am going to cheer you on yours this year. Those are substantial and fun goals. Goodluck and happy new year ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Dang. Every time I see someone wanting to explore/visit Boracay, it brings back a lot of memories. But I wish you all the best. It’s a great idea to write is down and publish it here because somehow, you are now accountable to your readers, right? Another thing I would love to see you write about is the 52-week money challenge. How do you do it?

    1. It’s going to be my first time in Boracay! How was your trip there? Thinking about maybe writing a post about the 52 week challenge, thanks for the suggestion ๐Ÿ˜€

      1. Hehehe. From 1990-1998, I spend an average of 3 visits to Boracay per year. From 1998-2003, I lived on that island. Back then everything was different. Especially in the early 90s before there was electricity on the island. It was pristine. Now it is highly commercialized kasi.

  4. I love the positivity I felt as I read your post. I am also hoping that our 2017 be more productive, happier and real beautiful. We have a few milestones as well to look forward too and I just hope it will make our family more solid and united.

Here’s to a prosperous new year to us!

  5. Wow! That’s one awesome list. I’ve done some of these and some are in my list too and some are not my type (like books!!). Can’t wait to see your solo travelogues! And yea, please get more sleep and take care of your health! Untouchable bank account is a very good idea. Best wishes with that!

  6. I once published my Life List on my blog s a standalone page, and it became one of the most popular pages in its time! So I commend you for writing down your list, I wish you well as you pursue and tick off as many items of it! Happy New Year to you!

  7. I have something similar on my site. It’s always good to have these kind of motivations in life but we need to put it somewhere we can see so that everything can really happen. Good luck

  8. I love your quote, this is why I am a bit of unstoppable, I feel we have to live the most and do the most of what makes us happy in life. I don’t have a huge bucketlist for 2017, however I have a big commitment and dream to pursue, and 2017 will be the year for that.
Your list is huge but amazing! Good luck with all of that ๐Ÿ˜€

  9. Your bucketlist sounds a lit of adventure for 2017. Goid luck on your explorations locally and internationally. It’s a very busy year ahead and getting more sleep is something I’d like to accomplish, too. Lol. I hope you’ll get every item done to fulfill your goals for this year. ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. This reminded me of my goals this year as well. I’m somehow excited to see and read your other Europe/Israel blog posts. You mentioned piano, do you play classical pieces too? But, item 9 is my favorite item! I wish I could really sleep well this year but I doubt that it would happen. Hope you complete all the items on your list! ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. I love your list! Especially that there are a lot of travel-related goals. Hehe! I totally agree on exploring Cebu, there will be a lot of places to visit here in Cebu. I hope you can visit anytime soon!

  12. Shame for me but what strikes me the most is to get more sleep and visit Cebu, I’m in struggle of my sleeping time, I think my brain functions more at night time, hahaha, which I need to overcome because it’s not giving me a healthy lifestyle at all, going back without exploring Cebu, I’m actually from Cebu but I haven’t explore it much, I always getting lost in places but good thing I’m no ashame to ask always the right way, I hope that everything in this list will be victorious add be fulfilled, Godbless

  13. I don’t think bucket list is really the right terms for the stuff you have mentioned there. For me, bucket list is a number of things that you can not easily do in your lifetime, but still you want to do them before you die. Well, you’ve got items there that are worth putting in the bucket list, but to get more sleep and such are more likely to be considered as a resolution. But don’t get me wrong, it’s just my opinion. Since you may consider those things as achievements, you can as well include them in you bucket list. ๐Ÿ™‚ Cheers for a successful year!

  14. I love your Bucket List, I have a number of them in my own! ^_^ I would love to explore the Masungi Georeserve, too, but I was told that children are not allowed so I guess I have to put that plan off until my little man is older. I have also included the 52-week money challenge, as well as getting fit, in my list this year!

Cheers to a hopeful + grateful 2017 and here’s to crossing off those items from our lists, one tick at a time! ^_^

  15. This reminds me of the list that I wrote back in 2015 and out of 10, I was only able to accomplish 2 items hahahaha… In short I am bad at making lists. I am not good at keeping them.

But I do hope you get to do yours. I think I wanna do the #1 also. Read a new book every month.

  16. I so agree with you Johna. My 2017 has started with a bang. For starters, I have been able to monetize my blog in a more physical manner. I have started getting guests thanks to the blogging that I have been doing for more than 4 years. I wish something wonderful happens to you in this year. Best of luck.

  17. This year is going to be an amazing one for you, I can feel it. Listing goals down, for some reason, at least majority of it always make them come true. Wishing you all of your heart’s desires. Cheers to a fabulous year!
